The Middle Atlas region is the green oasis of Morocco. Its Cedar forests, which regulate the climate and water cycles, are its very lungs. Majestic and seemingly eternal, the thousand-year-old Atlas cedars diffuse their powerful, woody scent in the pure mountain air.

Traceability
For its Cedar Eau de Parfum, L’OCCITANE chose to source the Cedar essential oil from the Atlas mountains in Morocco. Atlas Cedar oil is extracted from cedar trees subject to selective cutting. This is part of a sustainable development approach, approved by the Water and Forestry Service.
